Dishtracker recognises items with the help of a camera using object recognition software based on artificial intelligence, and automatically books them into the checkout system. Our AI system visually identifies the items based on the images previously trained into the system. Once the fine-tuning phase is complete, we will have recorded your product range. For offers of the day and new items we only need one image to add the item.
Our recognition software is based on an image database that we create at your site. This means that Dishtracker recognises all articles (food, drinks in glasses or bottles, fruit and snacks) that have been previously shown to the system.
We use cameras to see objects and our Dishtracker software to identify them. Using a camera makes it possible to identify all visual information, such as sizes, colours and shapes, that an article contains. Based on these features, we can identify an object, similar to the human eye, only much more precisely and unambiguously.
Until now, the installation of such solutions has been costly and time-consuming, requiring weeks of training with expensive cameras.
